Hello Again!

My dear readers, thanks for all your emails and queries. Hard to believe it's been a year. Even life set different priorities than blogging, I still often read and enjoyed lots of your fantastic posts.
This is my weekend outfit during a trip to Boston. Nothing special but one worth the mention:  Old Navy ballet flats.  I like the soft and comfortable feeling even first time to put on. There are also many color and pattern options, good to go with the colorful Jeans which are so trendy this fall season.

The Pink Crush

Ever since I found this baby, I fell in love with it right away. The color is close to neutral but adds some flavor. The leather soles and uppers make them very comfortable to wear. With some other pinkies from my closet, aren't they perfect for my favorite top and skirt I recently bought from Ann Taylor?

The skirt surprisingly fits me like a glove. The cutting at the hip is very flattering.

A close look of the top with Mandarin collar and the pink slingback.
Thanks for reading and hope you have a fabulous weekend!

From the archive: Orange and White

The weather just made a sharp turn these couple of days. Guess I caught cold when running to my car in the rain. So took out the pants and randomly picked a top. However seeing them together reminded me some pictures taken weeks ago. It's definitely a cheerful color combo to me at this rainy gloomy summer evening.

Do you have a favorite outfit that takes you out of blue?
Thanks for reading.

Apple Green Dress

After reading so many fabulous posts about Zara from the fellow fashion bloggers, I visited Zara store and told myself I'd never come out if couldn't find at least one piece. And guess what? Zara didn't disappoint me with this simple bright apple green dress. And even better, I found this $9 on sale belt from Madewell. So easily no brainer, they made one of my summer working day.

It seems everywhere is talking about the heat wave these days, So stay cool and thanks for reading.

Lemon Yellow: July 4th trip III

Ok, this post will end my July 4th vacation series. Summer is all about bright hues. As usually a black, grey, navy person, this bright yellow is one of the colors I thought I would never touched. Now you could see how much I get inspired from the fashion blog sphere.

The blue sandals are the only pair of sandals I had on the trip, since I left a bag home which I put sandals, and many other accessories. So I decided to give it a try, Do you like the results?

How could I forgot color blocking? I just couldn't love enough this turquoishy green color sweater.

Black and White: July 4th trip II

When I prepare clothes for a trip, multi-function is a main factor always kept  in my mind so I could pack less as possible. This jersey dress definitely falls into the criteria for my trip to Cape Cod.

As a basic casual day dress, the black and white pattern provides the base for any color accessories and could go with all kinds of nature colors.

And it easily transfered to a cover-up when going to beach!

Looked not too bad either when having a drink at the club after a whole beach day.
Do you have any multi-purpose piece when traveling like to share?

Red, White and Blue: July 4th Trip I

Hello dear friend, a quick post here to celebrate the Independence day, since I just got home from the trip to Cape Cod. Hope you all had a fantastic holiday.
Here is my version of Red, White and Blue:

Bike riding had almost become a tradition for our July 4th vacation.

Even though I'm pretty bad at bike riding, this post still looks good right? :)

There are many beautiful fence with flowers like this along the trail.

Also, many many small restaurants which you could have a FRESH seafood snack between meals

Oh, I have to give a shot of this pretty bike!

Happy 4th of  July!
