A Friend Forever - Summer dress series III

This dress to me is a timeless piece. The simple style, elegant floral pattern, and the soft like a breeze silk chiffon material made me just fell in love with it right away. It's never trendy, but it becomes a style over fashion to me. As B.Jones said, Fashion is trendy, today here tomorrow gone. Style is timeless, and sticks with you through. However, it still would be more interesting to make it stylish and trendy. My dear fellow bloggers, what's your brilliant idea?

Beach Sunday

Well I was not really had a beach day, even though the weather made it the best possible beach day. Had a friend came over and we past by the local beach. So we stopped for, just to get our feet wet and a few pictures for me to keep my blog moving forward.
The Halter top is not from this season, but one of my favorite. The colorful flower print makes it very easy for a summer fun look. And it's so comfy from the elastic material. Hope everyone had a joyful exciting hot summer weekend.

Poppy and Coffee

I didn't think I'd post anything today since we had thunderstorm late this afternoon. But then the sun surprisingly came out and the sky turned to crystal blue . Such a beautiful summer evening! I had to run some errands to our local supermarket. So took the chance even though I was in a hurry.

I never wore this bold color as I could recall. But last time when I went shopping with my girlfriend, my role model all the time, Furong, she seemed very randomly paired this two colors (coral/red shirt + brown loose pants), but they were just stunning! And guess what, it's on the cover of the store catalog!

So, Who am I?

I planned to post one of my favorite dress today. But a short conversation today changed my mind. Being a 9 to 5 person and working in standardized corporate environment, I struggled between the imagination and reality style. I've had so much fun and inspiration since I started this blog and became part of the fashion blogger community. Even though, I'm just a beginner who haven't figured out how to add a page and handle those gadgets. Hope my passion to fashion and style wouldn't surprise you, my dear friend, and you'll enjoy it with me.

Back on track, This is what I wore at work today. I bought the blouse a few years ago. The style is quite simple, maybe a little boring comparing to the popular ruffles, crinkles this year. Probably represent me more at the work place, following the standard? :) Add on the belt which I surprisingly found from LOFT store,  hmm, sometimes it all about the accessory. What do you think?

Safari Chic

Once again, this is for dear Jessica's (what I wore ) style challenge: Safari Chic! I have bunch of khaki, olive, earth color shorts, cropped pants, cargo skirts from past. I somehow want to try something more feminine, the trend of this year.  Also give a shot of the skirt I haven't had chance to show off yet. :) So here is my version.

Happy Friday

TGIF. I had a very simple outfit today, absolutely easy and effortless, for a relaxed Friday. The highlight part is the handbag I recently found from T.J.MAX. The golden yellow color and the cashmere soft touch feeling just caught my eye right away and made me couldn't put it down. With the sale price, I couldn't believe it's made in Italy! Have a joyful weekend!

The Sunny Flower

This is not what I wore to work today.  But seeing the bright sunshine after work made me can't wait to show off this lovely skirt from Karen Millen, one of my favorite findings of the season. The special curvy hip line with the adding ruffle on the two sides, plus the sunny colorful flowers,  make it a whole package of a sexy, gorgeous, lovely looking. I love summer!

Work Outfit

The weekend flew away just like a blink. It's Monday and time to back to the office again. I picked this bright color blouse to welcome the long missed sunshine. I thought the blouse looked pretty casual when I bought it. Plus I had very few red color shirts. This season is all about colors! So I decided to try something different. But by looking at the pictures, It's almost a formal looking office shirt!

Rainy Fresh Saturday

Rain, Rain, it has been raining for weeks! And I have been very much under the weather, lazy and tardy.  I need to re-fresh myself, even it still was a rainy Saturday. You see my hair was wet? Because I was standing in the drizzle!
I love this tank I got from NY. & Co. The golden metallic design is a hot trend of this season. And it's one of my favorite color combination.

The Essential White

The whole weekend I was busy packing and preparing for Chelsea's trip. Felt a little down after seeing her entered the security gate. Someday, before you could realize, Your dear little angel was already on the road by herself!
Seemed I still had not completely recovered this morning. So took out this white shirt for a simple start of the week. I was a little hesitated when I bought this top. Kind of a little boring. It was on sale with only like $10? Plus thinking of working in a corporate environment, even with the casual style dress code, a white top is always good to have as an essential. Changed to a short skirt after work and go casual!
